Responsibilities
The Latin American Catalog Library is responsible for original and complex copy cataloging of materials in all formats and on subjects relating to Latin America. Follows national cataloging standards as defined in AACR2, Library of Congress interpretations of these rules, and the MARC 21 formats for bibliographic, authority and holdings data. Contributes original, enhance, and name authority records in OCLC. Participates in policy-making processes relating to cataloging.
