Jennifer Corbin
Responsibilities
The Head of the Center for Library User Education (CLUE) provides leadership and supervision for CLUE Research & Instruction librarians, staff and student employees who provide research and instruction services for the Tulane Community and other library users. Reporting to the Director of Access, Research & Instruction, the Head of CLUE coordinates instruction services by promoting information fluency and instruction services on campus, leading the Library Instruction Group in best practices in information fluency pedagogy, assessment and presentation skills; assigning course-related instruction requests. Develops, plans and assesses, in collaboration with other instruction librarians, research and instruction services based on national trends, current research, best practices and the needs of the Tulane community. Plans, delivers and assesses information fluency instruction in classroom, one-on-one and online settings. Provides research and instruction services to individuals at the Research Help Desk, by phone and online. Fills a bibliographer role and participates in library committees, campus-wide committees, and national committees.
