Digital Services Department
What is Digital Services? We are the library department that works on many aspects of the electronic library.
There are three primary areas of focus for the Digital Services department:
- Developing the library's web site to assist our users in finding the information they need in the best way possible. This includes improving organization and navigation, publicizing the library's collections and services, making electronic resources available, and creating digital tools to improve patron access and service throughout the library.
- Updating and improving the library's catalog interface in order to make the catalog more functional for patrons.
- Assisting with digital projects, including the digitization of collections, in order to make our collections more accessible to more people, local and worldwide.
Have a suggestion for the web site? Please submit it via our help page.
Want to help? We are currently looking for student workers and interns, as well as Tulane patrons willing to help us with user testing. For details, please contact Kate Montgomery via email: kmontgom@tulane.edu or phone: 865-5686.
