The Government Documents Department at Tulane University features a small collection of paper holdings and provides access to the internet versions of many documents through the library catalog. Paper versions available include:
For your convenience the Microforms/Newspaper Department features 2 microfilm/microfiche printers and scanners; 4 microfilm readers and 1 microfiche reader. Patrons can read and print microforms; scan documents to a CD-ROM or a flash drive; and send the file to their email account.
Microforms available include a large collection of Louisiana newspapers dating from the early 19th century; Tulane University newspapers from 1894; FBIS Reports arranged by region; over 4000 restored Latin American Library microfilms and British Parliamentary papers. These web sites provide access to important government information, and while in no way do they replace the vast number of government documents lost during Hurricane Katrina, they allow access to thousands of U.S., State and United Nations publications in electronic format. Please see the Government Documents collection in room 201 (Howard-Tilton) for access to current U.S. Government publications.

The Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States contains material that was compiled and published by the Office of the Federal Register, National Archives and Records Administration. It includes volumes covering the administrations of Presidents Hoover, Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, and Clinton.
STAT-USA, gathers timely business and economic information from over 50 Federal Agencies to distribute from this central online source. AccessUN, an indexing and abstracting service listing recent (1990-) United Nations publications. This database is available to users on the campus network. Now many full text UN documents are avaialble through this database.
